For a town the size of Lufkin, I'd have to say I am impressed with it's mall. It's definitely not something to show-off to visitors but it's decent for Lufkin. The mall contains the usual dept. stores like Bealls, Sears, JCPenney's and also has some smaller stores like Gap, Kids Gap, American Eagle, and Motherhood Maternity. You could kill and hour or two shopping at this mall. This mall has two features that I really love. The first is a cute kids area at one end. It has an enclosed play area with seating for the parents. The kids love it, but it can become very crowded some days. The second thing I love about this mall is their party rooms. They have two nicely decorated (kids themed) rooms where you can hold your child's birthday parties for a small fee. They have the smaller tables and little chairs. Very convenient. We've had several parties there.

I don't even consider this a mall, there are hardly any stores to it and what stores are in there are not even that great. They have Tilt where you can play a few video games but its not even close to being big enough to call it an arcade. They do have a cute play area for little kids to play in but sometimes that can be packed out.I have never been inside of the movie theater so I don't know what thats like but the one good thing about it is, is you can send the kids to the theater and shop and meet them back there when the movie is over.

This is an ok mall, but not that great considering how the area of lufkin is growing. The stores have gotten better, but the mall is still not anywhere near what it should be. I'd rather shop in the shopping centers across the street or elsewhere. Besides that they have run everyone out lately. We spoke with some of the former tenants, tenants that stayed even when the mall was doing horribly and they went up about 7x's on the rent on them to make them move out! Not what I consider good. They said they only wanted large stores, no more mom/pop shops. That was a bad thing I think since those are the ones that supported the mall. So now there is no pizza place, no cookie store, only chickfila and corn dog 7.The movie theater is good now and the children's play place is cute.
