Description:
The Ellen Trout Zoo has more than 500 animals that are cared for and displayed in order to educate and entertain visitors. Animals that can be seen include a massive Galapagos tortoise, a sleek jaguar, and a beautiful kestrel. It sits on the northern edge of Lufkin, just past the Lufkin Country Club in Ellen Trout Park, which also contains a fishing lake and a miniature train.

Open daily 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Admission Details:
Adults $5; Children (4-11) $2.50; Children under 4 are free.
